What is Yaalini's Shipping Policy?

What do the different order statuses mean?

Pending / Pending Payment — Payment was unsuccessful.

Processing — Payment successful; order is being prepared for shipment.

Shipment in Transit — Order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

Cancelled — Order was cancelled due to non-payment.

Closed — Order was successfully cancelled upon customer request and a refund has been initiated.

How do I track my order?

We will keep you updated on your order status via email from support@yaalini.in. You will receive notifications for:

a) Successful placement of your order.

b) Tracking details once your order is dispatched.

c) Order cancellation (if applicable).

Where does Yaalini ship?

We offer shipping across India as well as worldwide to international customers.

Who pays for shipping and delivery charges?

Domestic shipping within India is free on all orders. For international customers, shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order value and package dimensions.

VAT, import duties, and local taxes for international shipments are borne directly by the customer, payable at the time of delivery. These charges vary by country and are beyond our control.

How is international shipping cost calculated?

Shipping charges are based on the weight of the product, volume after packing, and the destination of delivery. The final charge is displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

How is customs duty decided for international orders?

Customs and import duty is levied by the government of the destination country. These charges vary from country to country and Yaalini has no control over them.

Who are Yaalini's courier partners?

We use reputed domestic courier services for orders within India. For international shipments, we partner with DHL to ensure safe and timely delivery worldwide.

Do the prices on the website include taxes?

Yes. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes for Indian customers. For international customers, VAT, import duties, and local taxes are additional and payable at the time of delivery.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Domestic (India): 5–6 working days from dispatch.

International: 7–8 working days from dispatch.

All orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days from our warehouse, unless otherwise stated in the product details.

Who is responsible for local taxes on international orders?

For international customers, VAT, import duties, and local taxes are borne directly by the customer, payable at the time of delivery to our courier partner. These are over and above the product price paid at checkout.

Payment

What payment methods does Yaalini accept?

We accept credit and debit cards, net banking, and UPI transactions. All available payment options are displayed at checkout.

What should I do if my payment fails?

Please try placing your order again. Payment failures can happen for several reasons — sometimes banks block transactions as a security measure. If the issue persists, please contact your bank directly or reach out to us at support@yaalini.in.

My payment was deducted but the order was cancelled. What should I do?

Please email us at support@yaalini.in with your transaction details and a screenshot of the payment reference number. Our team will investigate and update you on the order status as soon as possible.

Cancellations & Modifications

What is Yaalini's Cancellation Policy?

We accept cancellation requests only if the order has not yet been processed or shipped. If your order is already in transit, we are unable to cancel it. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for further details.

How do I cancel an order I have placed?

Please email us at support@yaalini.in with your order number and reason for cancellation. If the order has not yet been processed, we will cancel it and initiate a refund.

Can I modify the shipping address after placing my order?

For domestic orders, the shipping address can be changed within 2 hours of placing the order, provided it has not yet been dispatched. Please email us at support@yaalini.in with the new address as soon as possible.

For international orders, we are unable to modify the shipping address once the order has been placed.

Can I cancel a specific item from a bulk order?

If the order has not yet been processed, we can cancel individual items from a bulk order. Please email us at support@yaalini.in with your order number and the specific items you wish to cancel.

When will I receive my refund after cancellation?

Once an order is successfully cancelled, the refund will be initiated within 2 business days and should reflect in your account within 7–10 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

If I cancel my order, will the tax amount be refunded?

Yes. The total order amount, inclusive of taxes, will be refunded. However, any transaction fees charged by your bank may be deducted from the refund amount.

Returns & Exchanges

What is Yaalini's Return and Exchange Policy?

What items are eligible for return?

Returns are accepted only in the following cases:

Genuine quality defects — manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of receiving the product, with supporting photographs and a full unboxing video.

Damaged or wrong item received — reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic and video evidence.

All returned items must be unused, unworn, with original tags and packaging intact.

What items are not eligible for return?

Colour variation — Slight differences due to screen calibration are not a valid reason for return or refund.

RTO (Return to Origin) — Failed delivery due to incomplete or incorrect address provided by the customer.

International orders — Returns not accepted where the customer declines to pay customs duties at delivery.

Items without proper folding, missing tags, signs of use, or damage not attributable to Yaalini will not be accepted.

What items are eligible for exchange?

Exchange is considered within 7 days of receiving the product for another product of similar or higher value. Items must be unused, unworn, with original tags and packaging intact, and returned with the original invoice.

Store exchange is not applicable for orders shipped outside India.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Contact our support team within 7 days of receiving the product with: your order number, a description of the issue, clear photographs, and a complete unboxing video.

Important: Please do not send back any item without first consulting with our team. Returns sent without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Why has my return or refund been put on hold?

Yaalini examines all returned products for reported defects based on the customer's email, photographs, and unboxing video. We also verify that the return was raised within the 7-day window from delivery. Once satisfied, the refund or exchange will be initiated.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Once the returned product is received and verified, refunds are processed within 2 business days and will reflect in your original payment method within 7–10 business days from the date of initiation.

Why has my return request been declined?

Return requests may be declined if the complaint is deemed false or baseless, if the product is not in its original condition, or if required documentation (photographs and unboxing video) was not provided.

Why was my returned product re-shipped back to me?

If upon examination the returned product does not meet return eligibility criteria — missing tags, improper folding, signs of use, or damage not attributable to Yaalini — the return request will be declined and the product re-shipped to you.

Who pays the shipping charges for returns?

For all returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges. For international returns, applicable customs duties are also borne by the customer and may be deducted from the refund.
